I love this game. I am using a 1st Gen KF and it works flawlessly. My only complaint is that it is annoying that it pauses when something happens on gamecircle during a game.

Absolutely love this game! Many games like this force you to buy their in-game currency or suffer through a painfully tedious grind to earn more money so you can unlock power-ups, etc. Skylanders has enjoyable gameplay that doesn't feel like a pointless and repetitive grind just to upgrade your gear or purchase the next power-up. There are a wide variety of levels that are randomized each time you play, with each level getting progressively harder the further in to the game you get.

Playing through the game will always earn you more coins, these are used to upgrade any special abilities you have already unlocked. Every day the element of the day changes, if you play with a Skylander character whose elemental alignment matches the element of the day you will earn a 50% bonus to the coins you collect for each run. Although you need gems to unlock these other Skylanders, your can earn a lot of gems at a decent pace by shooting the floating presents during the game, and for completing the various objectives that help you level up. There are a ton of Skylanders to unlock, each with their own look and special ability that you'll enjoy working towards unlocking.

The "grind" for gems and coins in fun and the time spent in the game feels purposeful and rewarding. It's an easy game to recommend and will appeal to plenty of gamers -- if you think it looks like your kind of game, you're probably right. The price is well worth the value of this game.

Minecraft is amazing. My brother has the X-box version and we both have the PC version. we have been waiting for this to come out for the Kindle Fire forever. Some people say this app doesnt work well, I have played on one of my friends Ipods and it is great. The only reason it has minimal space and doesnt download well is because it is in it's early stages. I have tried 4shared numerous amounts of times and it hasnt worked for me at ALL. This will most likely become cheaper when it gets older but you should try it. If you dont like it then it just isnt your type of game. Of course you'd be mad though seeing as its practically seven U.S. dollars right now but if you arent sure about it wait until it becomes a littme less cheap. And in my personal opinion Block Story doesnt hold a candle to minecraft. But dont just listen tk me, listen to the- what +500- other people who have rated it five stars and it will be enjoyable to your kids, like it is to my brother and I.

Sonic The Hedgehog 4 Episode II Kindle Fire

I love Episode 1 and all, but as much as I enjoy playing it, it's easy to see why others bashed it. It was a good Sonic game, but we were expecting a Sonic 4. And since the game was composed nearly entirely of rehashed materials of Sonics 1 & 2 (It may as well be called Sonic Pocket Adventure 2), it did not deliver the experience a sequel should.

What's important about Episode 2 is that it IS that Sonic 4 we've been waiting for! It's complete with all-new zones, Tails, catchy music (Catchier than Episode 1, too), and even more elements that made the Genesis Sonics so great (It has momentum, people!).

As with the gameplay itself, it's pure 2D Sonic platforming action remastered, and boy has it held up pretty well! Everything has that exciting feel from the original Genesis games. The graphics are beyond-awesome (Check out them backgrounds!), the music is catchy as heck, and the game as a whole is just flowing with excellence! 4 zones (Not counting Death Egg Mk. II Zone) may sound like this would be a short game, but the levels themselves last for 2 to 4 minutes (Sonic 3 and Knuckles did this as well)! I timed myself once, and the game lasted 1 hour and 35 minutes, which is just as long, if not slightly longer, than a Genesis Sonic title. And that's without collecting the Chaos Emeralds, via Special Stages, and Red Rings scattered around in levels. Both of those elements make for some nice replayability.







And of course, we have Tails. How does Sonic's sidekick help enhance the gameplay? Well, if you have played Sonic 3, you would know that he could fly, and even helped lift Sonic out of danger. This game has that feature, but now you can also have him hold onto Sonic as you control him swimming underwater! This is a MUST for me, because I really don't enjoy playing water levels so much. It's not as cheap as you may think it is, because you still have to worry about the surrounding enemies and Sonic's amount of air. And of course, we have the cool-lookin' Rolling Combo attack (Think Sonic's Spin Dash x 2).

The story is being followed amazingly here. In Episode 1, we can't focus on that so much since we're seeing Sonic go through suspiciously familiar environments as he did before. Here, BOOSH! Metal Sonic comes into the action, after being revived by Eggm-er... Robotnik, except he's more badass than ever! Metal Sonic doesn't mess around. In Sonic CD, he's just introduced and you have to instantly race him (He kidnapped Amy, too, but...you know what I'm trying to say. He didn't play a BIG role). And let's not forget Robotnik, who has went on to create HUGE machines used for boss fights! Speaking of which, unlike Episode 1, this game manages to actually be challenging! I usually beat Episode 1 in a walk. Meanwhile, there's actually some difficulty here! You may get a couple Game Overs during a first try at the game.

Although this is one heck of a Sonic game (especially as a Sonic 4), there's still a few minor things I'll have to mention. For example, I think the boss fights could last a little shorter (1 or 1 1/2 minutes) rather than 3 minutes, and I still think the price tag is a bit steep for a classic Sonic game (Hey. It deserves being in that category in my book).

But overall, this is it. This is Sonic 4! And it definitely proves itself worthy of the name. If you are on the fence for a Sonic game, you should go get this game, even if you don't own the classic Sonic games already. If you are wondering to buy either Episode 1 or 2, WHY THINK ABOUT IT? Skip Episode 1 and go straight to here (Although owning both results in allowing you to download "Episode Metal", letting you play as Metal Sonic through enhanced levels)! But before downloading, BE SURE TO HAVE STEAM INSTALLED. That program/service is required for this great game.

UPDATE: I've recently gotten ahold of Sonic 4: Episode Metal. Really, it's Metal Sonic traveling through 4 levels, with each based off of the 4 zones of Episode 1. The only real problem I found is that Mad Gear Zone has a few pretty cheap areas that'll cost you some lives. Other than that, it plays just fine, and it's a nice way to kill 15 minutes

As a huge Jeopardy fan (including having tried out for the college tournament several years ago), I was pretty disappointed in this app because the answers are MULTIPLE CHOICE. This takes out much of the difficulty that Jeopardy is known for as you essentially have a 33.3% chance of getting a question correct just by guessing. Thus, I feel like I'm playing something more akin to Who Wants to be a Millionaire rather than classic Jeopardy.

How to Read Google Books on Kindle Fire?

Kindle Fire and Kindle Fire HD is the most popular android tablet of Amazon, Kindle Fire is a 
great eBook reader compare with the similar eBook reader of other maufacture. It is really a great thing to read Google ebook on a Kindle Fire since it very support as a featured reading device. However Kindle Fire does not support for ePub format that used by Google Books as well as other publishers or eBooks stores.

In order to read Google eBooks on your Kindle fire, firstly, you need to know that Google books uses Adobe Adept DRM to protect the copyright. To read Google books on Kindle Fire, you need to remove DRM from Google Books, then convert Google books to Kindle Fire eBooks

To remove DRM from Google Books

The easiest way to remove the DRM from google ebooks is to use calibre and the dedrm Calibre plugins.

Step 1: Download and install calibre ( http://calibre-ebook.com/ ) for your OS.

Step 2: Download the latest DRM tools package ( http://stream-recorder.com/forum/showthread.php?s=dccea4eae8b14e85ac39b9bb45c2ca58&t=7955 ), and unpack it.

Step 3: Run Calibre. Click Preferences. Click Plug-ins.

Step 4: Click on the large “Add a new plugin” button

Step 5: Navigate to the tools folder unzipped in step 2

Step 6: Open the Calibre_Plugins folder

Step 7: Select one of the zip files in that folder

Step 8: Click on Add

Step 9: Click on the “Yes” button in the warning dialog that appears. A Confirmation dialog appears that the plug-in has been installed.

Step 10: Repeat steps 4 to 9 for every zip file in the Calibre_Plugins folder (five at present).

Step 11: If your ebooks don’t match the description at the start of any of the following items, ignore it and move on to the next.

Step 12: Now click on the Apply button, and then close the preferences.

Step 13: You’re now ready to remove the DRM from your ebooks. Just import them into calibre, and the DRM will be removed. The plugins ONLY remove the DRM when the ebooks are imported. If you have already imported your ebooks into calibre, your will need to remove them and import them again.

Convert Google Books on Kindle Fire

After removing DRM from Google books, you need to convert the non-DRM ePub books to Kindle Fire supported format such as MOBI, PRC, TXT, PDF, etc.

Step 1: Launch Calibre. In the main window, click "Add Books" button to locate the decrypted ePub file on your computer and add it to Calibre.

Step 2: Highlight the imported ePub file in the main screen of Calibre and hit "Convert Books" at the top of the screen. Click the "Output format" drop-down menu at the top right of the screen that appears and select PDF, MOBI, PRC or TXT as the output type.

Step 3: Once all settings done, just click "OK" to convert Google books to Kindle Fire.

Even thought the audio voice is not peffect but the quality is still good in comparision to some bad recorded audio-books.

You can install a third party software called Cool Reader to run TTS on Kindle Fire ,this is an free open source android book reader application that allowed Kindle Fire TTS to read eBooks. There is also a good at Kindle Fire TTS that you can install it without rooting the Kindle Fire, here  are step by step instruction on how to get TTS running on your Kindle Fire :

Tap the Gear icon in the top right coner of your Kindle Fire screen
Tap the More then tap Device to open the device menu
Tap to turn the "Allow Installation of Application from Unknown Source" to install the third party application
Tap OK to by pass the warning fron Kindle Fire and allow the installation
Install the TTS Cool Reader.apk app
If you need to remove the DRM books you can follow the instruction on how to remove DRM HERE

That all done
To use Cool Reader you just tap it to open and open the Document  folder then choose the book you like to read aloud with TTS. Tap the Menu icon at the bottom then tap More and tap to choose Read Aloud and tap Play to listen the eBook red out.

FolderSync android apk Kindle Fire  : I use this to sync my photos to my home server via FTP every night. Never had a problem. You can easily set different folders to sync to different locations, and using different connection methods. You can set it to only run if you're on a certain Wi-Fi network, so if it doesn't see my home SSID it doesn't try to sync to my local server. Lots of other smart features.


FolderSync is a application that enables simple sync to cloud based storage to and from local folders on the device memory card. It currently support multiple SkyDrive, Dropbox, SugarSync, Ubuntu One, Box.net, LiveDrive, HiDrive, Google Docs, NetDocuments, Amazon S3, FTP, FTPS, SFTP, WebDAV or windows share (Samba/CIFS) accounts, and support for more platforms are planned.

Effortlessly sync your files. Backup your music, pictures and other important files from the phone to your cloud storage or the other way around. It has never been easier. Tasker / locale support enables fine grained control of your syncs.
